5 out of 5 starsI purchased two chawan and am extremely pleased with both. The level of craftsmanship is incredible. While both are worthy of display, they are also well designed for practical use – they have room to accommodate the whisk and a serving of matcha, smooth interiors to prevent damage to the chasen, and rims high enough/curved enough to prevent splashing and promote good foam when making usucha. They feel wonderfully complex and alive when held in the hands. They were packaged VERY well and sustained no damage even though the box clearly went through a rough transient at some point. I’d happily recommend this shop to others and purchase from them again in the future.

5 out of 5 starsThis is the finest piece of my many orders from this favorite potter. Even more beautiful and substantial — in design, glaze, and craftsmanship — than it appeared the seller’s photos. I use it as a divided dish to make everyday meals a special occasion. Highly recommend this maker.

5 out of 5 starsI purchased this cup to admire its form and glaze and to use to drink my morning tea. The dripping crystallization in the glaze flows nicely from inside the cup onto the outside of the cup. It’s wood fired and in some spots it has really unique bits of ash deposit on its side adding to its beauty. I love how you can see where the clay may have been warmer in some spots than others during the firing process. Totally unique. Bravo Poterry Park, another beautiful piece!

5 out of 5 starsI purchased this piece to use for my daily tea ceremony. It’s beautiful, fully functional, and, I get just as much pleasure out of admiring it as I do using it. 6 stars if I could, another marvel of a piece!

5 out of 5 starsThis piece is beautiful, well crafted and gorgeous to admire. It fits very nicely in the hand and retains the heat from tea quite nicely. Works well as a collectible and as a functional piece. I love your work there!

They are so beautiful in every way. Paul, Mikhail and Julia are a great team from customer service to the craft 10 out of 10. They even gave me a extra cup!! Thank you guys so much!! And the little art work that comes with the cups are a perfect book mark. You guys are amazing, and my the universe keep you guys safe during this challenging time 🙏🏿

Firing the kiln
About Pottery Park
Poltava province of Ukraine. This Land is so rich in scenery landscapes, deposits of clay and long traditions of pottery. The little village Burty became a place of inspiration for me from the very first sight. Here the woodfired kiln was built and my Pottery Park studio was established in 2009.
Working with clay is an endless investigation. Whatever the shape wanted to get, whatever the technic invented, I always try to save the fascination of the living Clay natural behavior. Then i burn it using the Wood and the Reed as a fuel and a glaze supply as well. Both given by the Earth. Finally the Fire discovers the beauty of earthenware in its own fairy way and often brings something exceeding my expectation. After two days cooling down I open the Kiln. Voila! Let's see the Pottery!
