🌷 What are Sugar Flowers? 🌷

✨ Sugar flowers offer a unique alternative to fresh flowers with no need to worry about pesticides or toxins, and sugar flowers stay fresher for much longer!

✨ Sugar flowers are made from an edible clay-like material called gumpaste. The gumpaste contains egg whites. Each flower is made by hand so just like in nature, every flower is unique. Colors may vary slightly due to the handmade nature, and differences in computer screens.

✨ Sugar flowers are fragile and should be handled with care. However, they are strong enough to be placed on cakes. Although you should be gentle with sugar flowers, you don’t have to be afraid!!

✨ Gumpaste flowers are made with non-edible ingredients (wires, styrofoam, etc) and are not for consumption.

✨All flowers are shipped in padded boxes to prevent damage during shipping. Orders are shipped via USPS according to processing and shipping times.

✨If your flowers were damaged beyond repair during shipping, please send photos of the damage as soon as possible so that replacement flowers or a refund can be processed for you.

🎁 Storage 🎁

✨ Sugar flowers and leaves should be stored at room temperature away from sunlight and humidity. They can be stored in the box they were shipped in until you are ready to use them. Humidity can cause the gumpaste to melt and too much exposure to sunlight or florescent light can cause colors to fade.

✨Sugar flowers can be used on buttercream cakes, fondant cakes, ganache cakes, naked cakes, cupcakes, or even as floral centerpieces. Each sugar flower is made on a flexible floral wire for easy placement.

Sugar flowers are shelf stable at room temperature, due to their sugar content and low moisture. As long as the flowers are taken care of properly, they'll last for years! Keep the flowers out of direct sunlight (it can fade the colors) as well as extreme heat/cold, and especially out of humidity. Some refrigerators are very humid, and can cause the flowers to melt, so I recommend placing the flowers on your cake before serving. Each flower arrives in a box suitable for storage and comes with a care guide.

Standard shipping times vary based on where you are located in the US. The post office has recently announced they are slowing shipping times so it make take 5 days or more to receive your order.

Priority, Priority Express, and FedEx options are available at checkout.

International shipping can take up to 6 weeks, express options also available.

If you are concerned about your order arriving in time, please contact me with your event date to confirm that the flowers will arrive before your event.

I've shipped thousands of flowers over the last 6 years so I've found the best ways to safely package your flowers with lots of padding and fragile stickers! I've had very few packages arrive damaged, however I can't guarantee the actions of the post office once I drop off your order.

I always recommend ordering far in advance to account for damage or delays, and to order extra flowers if you're in a time crunch just in case.

Flowers shipped extremely quickly. They were very well packaged and came with instructions on how to care for them. There’s a video on their website on how to assemble and place the flowers that’s easy to follow.
