I like to call my art style “Inspired creations”. This day I was feeling like creating this abstract painting and collage I like to call Lovely Lucy. She is so bright with a blue back drop and that pop of yellow that I used newspaper to give some texture to. Then there’s that sun burst as I like to refer to it, on the left side of canvas. I feel like the splash of neon orange in this piece is a great complimentary color to the yellow as well. You will also find an awesome piece of magazine clipping that consists of black zig-zaggy lines against white back drop that really jumps off the painting. Plus two other magazine clippings of microscopic images and a squid. The extra add of purples really takes this piece to the next level. I also used plaster to give this piece a textured effect as well. Lastly you will find a leaf that was found personally, along with a key. Keys of all shapes and sizes have been showing up recently in my life and I’m taking that as an omen so I felt that one was fitting for this piece. To seal this piece in I then added a layer of mod podge. A Beautiful one of a kind piece of handcrafted on the spot Inspired Creation. Enjoy Friends!
