About Hekate's Deipnon:
The term "Deipnon" refers to the evening meal, making Hekate's Deipnon the "Supper of Hekate." This ritual was typically performed on the last day of each lunar month, just before the new moon. It was considered an important event in the religious calendar, and people would gather to honor and appease Hekate, seeking her blessings and protection. During Hekate's Deipnon, devotees would leave offerings at crossroads, as Hekate was believed to have dominion over these liminal spaces where paths intersected. The offerings would typically include food, such as eggs, garlic, onions, cakes, and other items like honey, wine, and incense. The purpose of this ritual was twofold: to show gratitude to Hekate and to request her guidance and favor in the upcoming month. People sought her protection against evil spirits, misfortune, and other malevolent forces that might threaten their homes and families.

How to use it: Burn a pinch of the incense on a lighted charcoal disc.
