They feed exclusively on the rich and unpolluted flora of Mount Athos, which due to the ideal weather conditions prevailing, consistently provides them with their food, with flowering coverage almost throughout the year. Bee migrations are minimal and short-distance, so the bees are not stressed or troubled in unknown locations. The queens are bred in our monastery with meticulous care, enjoying the warmth of the serene nature.
