This listing is for a knitting PATTERN; NOT for a finished item. With this PDF you will be able to create the item shown in the photos.
This cowl is as fun to make as it is to wear. Designed to work up fast, you can make this cowl in a few hours. Make this cowl for yourself, your child, or as a present. Also makes a great gift or sell what you make (see details below). Cowl features stacked stockinette sections that naturally roll, creating layers of "ropes." Sizes are child 5-10 years (can also be used as a smaller adult version), and preteen/adult 11+ years.
Pattern is beginner level. The knitter must be able to knit, purl, and do a lot of casting on, and binding off. Written in standard American English knitting terms. The pattern is color coordinated for sizes (for example, all child information is in red, adult information is in green, etc) to assist the knitter in pattern creation.
Sizes provided:
Child (5-10 years)
Teen/Adult (11+ years)
Materials required:
- Approximately 200(240) yards super bulky weight yarn (examples shown in Lion Brand’s Hometown USA yarn)
- One 36" (or longer) 9.0mm circular needle (or size needed to obtain gauge)
- Tapestry Needle to sew yarn ends in
