Made to Order

Four in one – One flat herring bone braid with twisted spun pewter thread and three round in leather. A stainless steel button is used as a closure. It looks like four single bangles.

Color: Burgundy
Width: approx. 1,8 cm / 0,71 inch

To preserve the beauty of your jewelry, avoid too much contact with water.

Materials used:
High quality pewter thread (nickel free alloy with 4% silver) in different dimensions for a variety of effects, spun in northern Sweden.

Since my ambition is to work sustainably, I have started to work with different kinds of recycled leather of the highest quality, such as reindeer, lamb and cowhide.

The bracelets and necklaces close either with a button made of reindeer antler, stainless steel or pewter. In some cases I use stainless steel magnetic clasps depending on the design. The closure loop is made of twisted leather, reinforced with synthetic sinew.

All photographs are taken at, or near, our summer cottage in northern Sweden.

It’s a very neat and modern looking piece, unusual. I made a mistake in regards to the colour as I didn’t realise which was the ‘natural’ one. But I like it all the same. I have to admit I’m not a fan of knotted leather necklace string that you pull to the desired length as I want to wear it quite tightly and the knots would show, but will simply add a clasp myself.
