I am a craft loving, reading, music lover that is the proud to be "Gramzy" to 4 amazing grandchildren! I am mother to Devon and Andrea, mother-law to Tiff and Lee and grandma to Hailie (18), Perrin (15), Kalina (10) and Mateo (9)!
I love to stamp! I started stamping 16 years ago when I was unexpectedly put on medical disability after a car accident. I missed my job as a school secretary and being around all the kids, staff and parents! A good friend of mine introduced me to rubber stamping and it quickly became my favorite craft! Cindy and I started teaching stamping classes. I taught classes for several years. It was lots of fun!
My husband and I lived in Denver, Colorado until 2014 when we moved to Portland, Oregon. Our oldest grandkids are in Denver so we had been with them since they were born. We decided now was our chance to spend time with our two youngest grandchildren. Our daughter and son-in-law were thrilled to have babysitters close by! Oregon is amazing! I didn't think any place could be as beautiful as Colorado! Turns out I was wrong! We had a great time exploring our new home state.
I opened my Etsy store February 1, 2016 to find an outlet to sell all the cards I'm always making. Okay, I also wanted to see if I could make some extra money doing what I love! Making these cards makes me smile, and I'm hoping I can share that with you. I can guarantee that the recipient will smile because someone took the time to send a special card to them! More smiles! That's why I named my store Smile GreetingCards! When my husband of 46 years, passed away, I focused on my cardmaking. creativity and shop.
Thanks for taking the time to read this profile! Hope you enjoy my small works of art as much as I have enjoyed making them!
