Marg Ruttan has always had a deep appreciation for creating art, making memories, and sharing her enthusiasm for life. As a best-selling cookbook author with over forty years of experience developing delicious meals, she’s turned her creativity to the digital world with her company Grandma Mag's Kitchen. She is a self-taught graphic artist and uses Photoshop to create whimsical digital collages and clip art for her followers to use both personally and commercially.
When she’s not at her computer creating delightful images, she can usually be found spending her time with her husband, three children, two granddaughters, three great-grandchildren, and a handful of close family friends. She enjoys travel, reading, and spending time in the great outdoors. She understands the value of community and giving back on a local level, which is why she regularly donates to the local Food Bank and supports both the Girl Guides and Stars Ambulance Service.
You might notice that much of her digital art has a nostalgic charm to it, and that is because she is enamored with the great images, textures, and themes of yesteryear. This love of nostalgia stems from her appreciation for antiques and she can often be founding hunting down great finds in antique shops and estate sales. In fact, her love for antiques is so robust that she and her husband operated several booths for an antique shop for many years before she transitioned into her current role as an entrepreneur.
