I came up with my shop name "Alternate Joy" because I've always been a creative person, but it wasn't until I started searching for a specific item that I realized my true passion. I scoured the internet and local shops, but I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. Frustrated and disappointed, I decided to take matters into my own hands. Here you will find items that are "alternate" to what is already out there.

With designs swirling around in my head, I got to work. It wasn't long before I had created something that not only met my needs but far exceeded my expectations. I was thrilled with the end result, and I knew I had stumbled upon something special.

From that moment on, I became obsessed with creating things that were unique and one-of-a-kind. I wanted to tell a story with every piece I made, and I poured my heart and soul into every detail.

That's when I decided to open up my second Etsy shop. I wanted to share my creations with the world and offer something that couldn't be found anywhere else. I take pride in creating something no one else has and telling a story with each piece. It's not just about making a sale, it's about making something that will bring joy and happiness to someone's life.
