Handmade wooden combs, hairpins and hairfork; Very often, the shape is determined by the wood itself and the colors and shades are unique. Plum extends from pale pink, deep red to cherry color. Apple - from cream to coffee color, walnut – from olive to dark brown color. For me, working with wild pear is the most exciting. Wild pear wood has a characteristic color, a dense composition and it is perfectly polished. Acacia and elm have pronounced veins that change their color at different angles of light. Unlike plastics, which are widely used in household, wood has no toxic emissions. It does not create static electricity and it does not cause allergies. With time, wood obtains an increasingly refined look thanks to the plant oils that enhance its beauty and colors, allowing it to breathe while protecting it from water.
