The syrup is thin. Shouldn’t it have a thicker consistency?
Most syrups are made to be thick using thickening agents, fillers or preservatives. As the Berry Naturals Elderberry Syrup is made using only the purest natural ingredients, it will have a thinner consistency to other common syrups but rest assured, we have spared no efforts in delivering you a fine handcrafted products packed full of healthy and nourishing ingredients
How do I store my elderberry syrup and how long does it last?
Our elderberry syrup will last up to 4 months in the refrigerator. A Best Before date appears on each individual bottle. You can also freeze our elderberry syrup in ice cube trays for up to 6 months and thaw out smaller amounts as necessary.
How often should I take the Berry Naturals Elderberry Syrup?
The suggested use for overall health and wellness is:
Adults (over the age of 12): 1-2 tablespoon daily
Children (over 18 months): 1 teaspoon daily.
Take the recommended daily dosage to help support and boost the immune system. When feeling seasonal illness, increase the recommended daily dosage to 2-4 times a day. Reduce to normal when recovered.
How do I take the elderberry syrup ?
Sip it straight from a shotglass, or enjoy it with:
- drinks: sparkling water, tea, smoothie, or juice;
- mix it into yogurt or oatmeal;
- pour atop pancakes, waffles, French toast, or ice cream.
I am Vegan, do you make syrup without honey?
Yes! We offer a Vegan version. This option contains the same ingredients as the regular syrup but it is sweetened with organic agave syrup instead of raw honey.
