Over the years watching the crypto space evolve, one thing became clear:

We saw countless stories of users losing access to their funds, not understanding how wallets work, or trusting third-party platforms with their keys. Each of these cases was a reminder of how far the industry had drifted from the original vision of Satoshi Nakamoto - the idea that 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗸𝗲𝘆𝘀.
This inspired us to create 𝗖𝗿𝘆𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗕𝗼𝘅 - a minimalistic, secure, open, and easy-to-use software tool that helps every user:

• store their keys privately and locally
• create transactions independently
• understand the responsibility and power that comes with private key ownership
