20 years ago my mother told me that if I wanted to go to that first medieval event, I had to do the clothes by myself. I rose to the challenge- how hard could it be to sew a medieval dress?

That first-time dress probably didn't look much to the world, but I made it and went off on a historical adventure...

Now, some hundreds of clothes later the adventure continues as my job. First as a graduated and legitimized arts and craft teacher, with my own crafting during evenings and weekends, and then with my own business Handcrafted History, that is now my full-time commitment.

I design historical (and some modern) clothing, sew outfits and special orders, visit marketplaces and events with my business and arrange workshops and lectures about medieval and viking clothing and handcrafts.

I love teaching and have lots of workshops all around Sweden over the year, as well as personal pattern drawing and cloth fitting at my studio.

This is my shop, and here you will find medieval and viking clothing and accessories, made by me. All items are made with my long knowledge and experience in historical technics, in high-quality materials.
