Is this a physical product?
No. This is a digital download. No physical item will be shipped.
What files do I receive?
You receive the interactive Ball Python Breeder Tracker HTML file and a quick-start guide.
Do I need special software?
No. Open the tracker file in a modern web browser such as Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Once downloaded, the tracker can run locally in your browser without an internet connection.
Where is my data saved?
Your records are saved locally in your browser on your device. They are not uploaded to a cloud account by this file.
Can I back up my records?
Yes. Use Tools > Export Backup to download a JSON backup file. Use Tools > Import Backup to restore a saved backup.
Can I export to CSV?
Yes. Use Tools > Export CSV to download readable CSV tables for animals, pairings, clutches, hatchlings, husbandry events, and notes. CSV files are for spreadsheet review and outside records. Use JSON backup if you need to restore the tracker later.
Can I track hatchling sales or deposits?
Yes, lightly. Hatchling records include sale price, deposit received, sale or transfer date, transfer status, and sale notes. The tracker is not a full CRM and does not manage payments, invoices, shipping, or customer communication.
Can I use it on multiple devices?
The tracker does not automatically sync between devices. To move records to another device, export a backup from the first device and import it on the second device.
What happens if I clear my browser data?
Clearing browser storage may remove saved tracker records. Export backups regularly so you can restore your data if needed.
