I ❤️ WOOL

Wool Republic is the inevitability result of a life long love for wool and yarn. I love handling greasy fleece and turn it into lovely spinning fibres. And i love spinning and knitting too ( which is a good thing since there is a lot of wool in my studio)

I also like the environment and want the process of handling the wool to be as natural as possible.

In Sweden I run a small wool shop named Tant Vera (Aunt Vera). We also sell online and ship world wide. www.tantvera.se

But I don't run Wool Republic/Tant Vera alone. To my help I have:

The daughter. She gives me great advice on colour combinations for yarn and what to knit. She is also the scratchiness tester.

The husband. He makes sure that I'm not totally submerged in wool and he brings me coffee. He is a very patient man, as you have to be when you're married to a crafter.

The dog. Elsa keeps me company when spinning but is not too impressed with the raw fleece. Maybe she can't understand why I have 20 sheep in our bathroom.

- We accept all major credit cards through Pay Pal and will ship your order as soon as we get your payment.

- If you want to pay by bank transfer or by Swish (Swedish customers only), select payment method "other" and send me a PM for further information.

- Only one discount coupon is redeemed per purchase.

Shipping

We will ship your order within 1-2 business days. The time it takes for the yarn to reach you depends on where you live in the world. You will always get a confirmation email when your yarn has been shipped.

Additional policies and FAQs

We always take good care to depict yarn and wool in daylight and with the correct colour. However, due to variances among computer monitors the colours that appear on your screen may not be exact.

All wool are handled in a smoke free and pet friendly environment. My dog Elsa keeps me company when I spin, but is not allowed around raw fleece.
