When I started out I was making cards and embellishments and selling them here on Etsy. My mom has made beautiful handmade cards for years and so I naturally followed in her footsteps. My mom and I would spend countless hours designing.....and admiring our handmade cards. Oh and of course shopping for everything we needed.

I decided I wanted to try something different and started making jewelry in 2009. It has been rather challenging to settle into one facet of jewelry-making. I think I'm still exploring what I like best although I really find myself gravitating toward personalized lockets.

Whatever materials I use, I take great care in searching for quality pieces. I have returned many items because they were not to my satisfaction, so I am a bit picky. I especially like a good quality, sturdy chain. I'm a chain "connoisseur" of sorts.

Each item is carefully made and packaged by me. My mom enjoys making my pillow boxes for each individual item. They are individually cut and assembled from beautiful patterned paper. I wrap a matching ribbon around each along with the packing slip and a handwritten note of thanks. I think it is this extra touch that makes opening your package special.

I enjoy staying at home with my two kids and doing the Mom thing. It is a great blessing that the Lord has given me and I am very thankful.
