My parents were well known antique dealers in the Philadelphia area in the mid 1900's. They moved to California in the 1960's with moving vans filled to the doors with their gorgeous merchandise. When they both passed in the 1990's, my sister and I had to pack it all up and I had to ship it back to Philly. It all sat in my basement for many years before I could deal with selling it. Among the many treasures were my Mom's postcard collection, her button collection, my Dad's stamps, wonderful antique books and so much more. I used to say My Mom never saw a piece of paper she didn't like. Even though I already had two other ETSY shops, I opened another just to sell paper ephemera. Eventually as I began to organize and find so many other treasures, I began to expand the items I sold in this shop.
