"A lot of fun! I used this as a jumping off point and it was a great place to start. The file is simple to print and assemble, although an A0 version would have been appreciated. There is an image of the assembled pieces but it's very low resolution - something higher would have made it easier to refer back to pattern pieces quickly. As far as the pattern goes, I liked the overall shape and cut a lot! No options for side pockets so I got a little creative. The length on the body was perfect, and it's worth noting that the sleeves are already a decent length (I should have checked as the extra length I added wasn't needed). Also, older instructions are a lot wordier, and often harder to follow than modern ones. Probably not the most beginner friendly, but this is one of my favourite pieces I've made!"

"An excellent pattern clear and easy to follow for the beginner. I got them for my kids (10,11)to learn how to make clothes and they had no problems understanding it. If I had one complaint, it would be a minor one, it is the sizing. I have a 52" (133 cm) chest, which in North America would be classified as XXL, on these patterns XXXL is a 48" (122 cm) chest. For me this isn't a big problem as I can scale the pattern, but for someone who is new to making clothes, it could be a problem"
