My name is Stephen Challener, and I'm a graduate student in geology at NC State University. My brother, Tim Challener, is a graduate student in a joint UNC-NC State program. We took up jewelry making in 2010, but we have both had a life-long passion for gems and minerals. Since we were very young we've spent a lot of time both at gem shows and rockhounding around the nation. Our goal in making jewelry is always to design settings which will do the most to show off a stone's natural beauty. As such, every piece is custom made and one of a kind!
