I'm an artist, painter and teacher by trade. I like busy hands - and if I'm not painting, I cook & bake. I've done crochet, embroidery, Hardanger embroidery, trapunto, tatting, and I'm a recent knitting convert. I collect antique linens, especially cutwork and handkerchiefs. I want every woman I know to have an old-fashioned apron and a favorite recipe. In the coming year, I hope to learn cutwork and would love to know how to spin yarn. My motto? Life is messy, make something out of it.
