En pleno descargo de responsabilidad, puedo decir honestamente que ni mi esposa ni yo teníamos sueños de la infancia de inventar un mordedor de leche, pero tener hijos propios puede hacer cosas divertidas en el curso de la vida de uno ... y aquí estamos.

Nuestra primera hija fue una dulce niña que tuvo un terrible caso de cólico. Después de superar ese período, mi esposa y yo estábamos convencidos de que habíamos visto lo peor de su llanto, hasta que comenzó a dentición. Un día, durante un episodio particularmente malhumorado, miré a mi hija pequeña y vi que estaba rodeada por una gran cantidad de artilugios de plástico para la dentición y una jirafa de goma, pero no estaba interesada en todos ellos y todavía lloraba por el dolor y la incomodidad. Fue entonces cuando me dije: "Tiene que haber una mejor manera". Después de mucho pensar y considerar, se me ocurrió que el cono de helado es realmente el diseño perfecto de mordedor de la naturaleza. Con esa inspiración nos propusimos hacer de SweeTooth una realidad donde la naturaleza se encuentre con la crianza con una pizca de diversión.

Por supuesto, más importante que la diversión es la seguridad y es por eso que insistimos en la fabricación de SweeTooth en los Estados Unidos utilizando solo caucho de silicona de primera calidad médica y alimentaria. Sabemos que hay una gran cantidad de mordedores de leche en el mercado, muchos disponibles a una fracción del precio, pero en la mayoría de los casos están hechos en el extranjero de plástico u otro material inferior.

SweeTooth se enorgullece de ser una empresa familiar que realiza toda su fabricación en los Estados Unidos.

La brotación de los dientes es un rito de paso y puede ser un período muy estresante tanto para el bebé como para los padres. Si bien no existe una cura mágica para el dolor y la incomodidad de la dentición, esperamos que SweeTooth haga que la experiencia sea un poco más agradable para todos.

In full disclaimer, I can honestly say neither my wife nor myself had childhood dreams of inventing a baby teether but having kids of your own can do funny things to the course of one’s life…and here we are.

Our first child was a sweet little girl who had a terrible case of colic. After making it through that period my wife and I were convinced we had seen the worst of her crying – until she began teething. One day during a particularly cranky episode I looked at my teething baby daughter and saw she was surrounded by a slew of plastic teething gizmos and a rubber giraffe yet she was uninterested in all of them and still wailing from the pain and discomfort. That’s when I said to myself: “There’s got to be a better way.” After much thought and consideration it occurred to me that the ice cream cone is truly nature’s perfect teether design. With that inspiration we set out to make SweeTooth a reality where nature meets nurture with a sprinkling of fun.

Of course more important than fun is safety and that is why we insisted on manufacturing SweeTooth in the United States using only premium medical and food grade silicone rubber. We know there are a plethora of baby teethers on the market, many available at a fraction of the price, but in most cases they are made overseas from plastic or another inferior material.

SweeTooth is proud to be a family owned and operated business that does all of its manufacturing in the United States.

Sprouting teeth is a rite of passage and it can be a very stressful period for both baby and parents alike. While there is no magic cure for teething pain and discomfort it’s our hope that SweeTooth will make the experience a little more pleasant for everyone.
