Boxerloon Designs började när jag var volontär på en lokal Boxer Rescue. Vi förberedde föremål för en insamlingsauktion och behövde byta ut några vinglas i en picknickkorg som donerats till Rescue. Jag hade de perfekta två små vinglasen som passade i korgen. Jag hade precis etsat klart en design av några pintglas till min man och tänkte "Varför gör jag inte något annat på dessa vinglas?" Jag etsade Rescue-logotypen på de två vinglasen och en boxerhuvudsilhuett på två andra som jag integrerade i en auktionskorg och de blev en stor succé. Boxerloon Designs föddes.

Jag har två räddade boxrar och en döv Jack Russell (han kom in i vårt garage och gick aldrig därifrån!). Jag donerar fortfarande etsade glasvaror till räddningsorganisationer över hela landet (inklusive en häst som räddats) för deras insamlingsinsatser samt till lokala välgörenhetsorganisationer som Relay for Life. Jag älskar att kunna hjälpa dessa goda människor att samla in pengar till sina ändamål.
Jag har nyligen börjat tillverka mina specialdesignade kransar. De blev min terapi medan jag återhämtade mig från en total höftledsoperation. Operationen lyckades, ingen mer smärta och mycket bättre rörlighet. Nu kan jag handla förnödenheter utan smärta. Att gå med i kransdesigngemenskapen har inspirerat mig att ta steget till att annonsera och sälja mina skapelser. Varje ny krans är min favorit. Jag hoppas kunna få mitt företag att växa tillräckligt för att kunna bidra mer till mina favoriträddningsinsatser.

Boxerloon Designs began when I was volunteering with a local Boxer Rescue. We were getting items ready for a fundraiser auction and needed to replace some wineglasses in a picnic basket that was donated to the Rescue. I had the perfect 2 little wine glasses to fit the basket. I had just finished etching a design some pint glasses for my Husband and thought “Why don't I do something on these wine glasses?” I etched the Rescue logo onto the two wine glasses and a Boxer head silhouette on two others that I incorporated into an auction basket and they were a big hit. Boxerloon Designs was born.

I have 2 rescued Boxers and a deaf Jack Russell ( he wandered into our garage and never left!). I still donate etched glassware to rescues across the country ( including a horse rescue) for their fundraising efforts as well as to local charities like Relay for Life. I love being able to help these good people raise money for their causes.
I just recently started making the Custom Wreaths. They became my therapy while recovering from a total hip replacement. Surgery was successful, no more pain and much better mobility. Now I can shop for supplies without pain. Joining in with the Wreath Designing community has inspired me to make the jump to advertising and selling my creations. Each new Wreath is my favorite. I hope to grow my business enough to contribute more to my favorite Rescues.
