Hi, I’m Xinrui (Shin-ray)! 👋
Circus of Threads started with a simple idea: Our beloved crafting tools deserve more than mass-produced plastic cases. Their home should feel just as special — thoughtfully designed, beautifully textured, and made with the warmth of textiles.
As I spent more time patching my dog's toys and embroidering at home, I found myself searching for organizers that truly fit the tools we use — something portable, compact, practical, and beautiful enough to bring a little joy to everyday crafting. So I started designing them myself.
Growing up in Nantong, China, textiles were always part of my childhood. Years later, after moving to Austin in 2017 and leaving my career in tech and data, that lifelong love of fabric and color unexpectedly found its way back to me.
Today, our mission is simple: To create thoughtfully designed textile organizers that keep your crafting tools beautifully organized, with less brainwork and more room for creativity - bringing color, warmth, and joy to everyday making. 🎪✨
