Come artista a tempo pieno ho prodotto ceramiche funzionali fatte a mano che si distinguono per le sue immagini originali dipinte a mano.

Una cara amica era nella sala di recupero dopo l'intervento chirurgico quando qualcosa le ha fatto pensare a me. Ancora stordita dall'anestesia, ha scritto una breve lettera in una sceneggiatura traballante, così diversa dalla sua solita precisione: "Dovresti avere i tuoi disegni stampati su altre cose!!" con una lista di oltre 10 elementi, dal sublime al ridicolo.
Ho trovato il suo biglietto quizzicale, lusinghiero e poco pratico e l'ho messo via.
Clay era stata la mia vita per oltre 30 anni. Clay mi ha definito. Ero un pony con un solo trucco. La nota è riemersa diversi anni fa e questa volta l'idea sembrava degna di considerazione. Sono così felice di averlo fatto.

A close friend was in the recovery room after surgery when something made her think of me. Still woozy from the anesthesia, she wrote a brief letter in wobbly script, so unlike her usual precision: “You should have your designs printed on other things!!” with a list of 10+ items, from the sublime to the ridiculous.
I found her note quizzical, flattering, and impractical and put it away.
Clay had been my life for well over 30 years. Clay defined me. I was a one-trick pony. The note resurfaced several years ago and this time the idea seemed worth considering. I am so glad I did.
