Who else uses coloring for stress relief and a little relaxation?
Voglio dire, ho venduto immobili per anni. Era così stressante, 24 ore su 24, 7 giorni su 7. Un lavoro in cui non sapevi mai se avresti concluso la vendita o meno. Mi ha letteralmente prosciugato la vita. Quando sono andata in pensione quest'anno, non avevo idea di cosa volessi fare: sono una nonna di 63 anni, chi mi assumerà? Ho avuto la folle idea di creare un libro da colorare per le mie nipoti. Non sapevo da dove iniziare. Sono andata su ChatGPT e ho iniziato a fare domande. Ho guardato video di altre persone che creavano libri. Ho iniziato con Carousel Horses (dato che sono un'amante dei cavalli) e ho perfezionato l'arte fino a renderla bellissima, e sono impazzita. Nel giro di una settimana avevo 30 illustrazioni. Ho guardato altri video e ho scaricato Canva per mettere insieme il tutto. Ho adorato il processo! È stato estremamente soddisfacente avere il prodotto finito e ho subito iniziato il libro successivo, Be Inspired. Per ogni libro mi chiedevo: cosa vorrei che le mie figlie colorassero? Cosa vorrei che ottenessero da ogni libro? Non solo per divertirmi, ma anche per imparare, così ho iniziato a lavorare su Creature Mitiche e ho iniziato ad aggiungere una breve descrizione per ogni illustrazione. Dopo qualche mese avevo già creato 9 libri e ho iniziato a tradurre quelli con le descrizioni in diverse lingue: spagnolo, cinese, hindi. Ce ne saranno altri. Adoro profondamente il processo creativo ora che ho imparato/affinato/rivisitato/rivisitato tutto al punto da sentirmi molto a mio agio. Poi è arrivato il "beh, ho questi libri, vendiamoli ovunque possibile", quindi Etsy, Amazon, Lulu hanno creato un sito web, sono andata su qualsiasi portale ho trovato. Congratulazioni a chiunque sia arrivato fin qui e spero che diate un'occhiata ad alcune delle mie creazioni e magari facciate un regalo a qualcuno che ama l'arte e il colore nella vostra vita. La cosa divertente è che ho appena iniziato a colorarli io stessa per avere dei prodotti finiti su Etsy e wow! Adoro colorarli. Non coloravo un libro da colorare da oltre 30 anni e, davvero, è un OTTIMO modo per rilassarsi e connettersi con la vena creativa che tutti abbiamo. Non importa COME si colora. I mean, I sold real estate for years. it was so stressful, 24/7. A job you never knew if you were going to make the sale or not. It literally sucked the life out of me. When I retired this year, I had no idea what I wanted to do- I'm a 63 year old grandmother, who's going to hire me? I had a crazy idea to make a coloring book for my granddaughters. I had no idea where to start. I hopped on ChatGPT and started asking questions. I watched videos of other people making books. I started with Carousel Horses (since I am a horse lover) and refined the art to one I thought was beautiful and went crazy. within a week I had 30 illustrations. watched more videos and downloaded Canva to put it all together. I loved the process! it was extremely satisfying to have the finished product and I promptly began the next book, Be Inspired. Each book I thought to myself, what would I want my girls to color? what do I want them to get out of each book? not only to have fun, but to also learn so I began Mythical Creatures and started adding a little description for each illustration. Fast Forward a few months and I had created 9 books, and began also translating the ones with discription to different languages- Spanish.Chinese. Hindi. There will be more. I thoroughly love the creative process now that I've learned/refined/re-imaged/re-everything to the point where I'm very comfortable with the process. Then came the "well I have these books, lets sell them wherever possible so Etsy,Amazon,Lulu, created a website, I went on any portal I could find. Who's ever gotten this far I congratulate you, and hope you will take a peek at some of my creations and perhaps make a gift to someone who loves art and coloring in your life. Funny thing, I just started actually coloring them myself to have some finished products on Etsy and wow! I love coloring them. I haven't colored a coloring book in over 30 years and really, it's a GREAT way to relax and connect with the creative bone we all have. it doesn't matter HOW you color.
