Crear joyas ha sido un amor mío durante décadas. Mientras estaba en la universidad como estudiante de fotografía, tomé un curso electivo en joyería y orfebrería. Siempre me han intrigado los metales y el diseño de joyas.
Comencé Contents Jewelry alrededor de 1990. Durante muchos años consigné con éxito mi trabajo en el negocio de wisconsin de mi tía. Descubrí Etsy en 2013 y pensé que sería un gran lugar para vender mis joyas. También participo en muchas ferias de arte y artesanía de Wisconsin. Me gusta reunirme cara a cara con mis clientes.
Me encanta trabajar con muchos materiales como chapa, alambre, cuentas artesanales, vidrio, objetos encontrados, seda, cuero y cadena. Me encantan los procesos como el corte, el recocido, el moldeo y el esmaltado de metales. También me fascina el texturizado del metal. ¡Transformar el metal en pequeñas piezas de arte para usar es algo que me encanta!
A veces tengo una visión de algo que quiero crear y otras veces una pieza evoluciona a medida que trabajo en ella. Mi inspiración está impulsada por el color y la naturaleza. Cuando creo me olvido de casi todo lo que está fuera del proceso y me pierdo en él.

Creating jewelry has been a love of mine for decades. While in college as a photography major I took an elective course in jewelry and metalsmithing. I have been forever intrigued by metals and jewelry design.
I started Contents Jewelry around 1990. For many years I successfully consigned my work in my aunt's Wisconsin business. I discovered Etsy in 2013 and thought it would be a great venue for me to sell my jewelry. I also participate in many Wisconsin Art and Craft fairs. I enjoy meeting face-to-face with my customers.
I love working with many materials such as sheet metal, wire, artisan beads, glass, found objects, silk, leather and chain. I love processes like cutting, annealing, molding and enameling metals. I'm fascinated with texturing metal too. Transforming metal into little art pieces to wear is something I love!
Sometimes I have a vision of something I want to create and other times a piece evolves as I work on it. My inspiration is driven by color and nature. When I create I forget almost everything outside of the process and lose myself in it.
