Ognuno ha una citazione preferita o forse è un testo di canzone preferito che li parla. Ne ho diversi - AMO ANCHE CREARE! Lavoravo nel campo del graphic design da diversi anni e mi sono ritrovato ad annoiarmi perché la mia particolare posizione stava diventando meno creativa e volevo provare qualcosa di nuovo. Ho deciso che volevo fare qualcosa che mi parlasse a un livello più personale. Ero alla ricerca di un segno di ciò che potevo fare per realizzare il mio lato creativo. All'epoca non mi rendevo conto che sarebbe stato letteralmente un "segno". Ho iniziato a vedere segni che mi parlavano e ho deciso che volevo crearne alcuni miei. Ho trovato che la creazione di segni è uno sbocco creativo molto divertente che è diverso da quello che stavo facendo. Ho iniziato a fare segni per me stesso e poi per amici e familiari come regali. È cresciuto di più quando le persone li vedevano e chiedevano di farmene fare uno per loro o per un regalo che vorrebbero fare, ecc. Adoro creare nuove insegne e la sfida degli ordini personalizzati. Mi piace ascoltare le storie di come un segno è stato dato in dono e la meravigliosa reazione che il ricevitore ha avuto quando è stato aperto. IL NOSTRO PROCESSO:
Ogni segno è dipinto a mano. Usiamo un taglierino in vinile per creare uno stencil che ci consente di ottenere bordi nitidi sul tipo. Il vinile viene quindi rimosso lasciando un bellissimo pezzo creato con vernice e legno. Viene quindi applicato un rivestimento in cera morbida che sigilla il segno e gli conferisce un aspetto finito.

Everyone has a favorite quote or maybe its a favorite song lyric that speaks them them. I have several - I also LOVE TO CREATE! I had been working in the graphic design field for several years and found myself getting bored as my particular position was getting less creative and wanted to try something new. I decided I wanted to do something that spoke to me on a more personal level. I was on the search for a sign of what I could do to fulfill my creative side. I didn't realize at the time that it would literally be a "sign." I began seeing signs that spoke to me and decided I wanted to create some of my own. I found sign making to be a very fun creative outlet that is different from what I had been doing. I started out making signs for myself and then for friends and family as gifts. It grew into more as people would see them and ask to have me make one for them or for a gift they would like to give etc. I love creating new signs and the challenge of custom orders. I enjoy hearing the stories of how a sign has been given as a gift and the wonderful reaction the receiver had when it was opened. OUR PROCESS:
Each sign is hand painted. We use a vinyl cutter to create a stencil which allows us to get crisp edges on the type. The vinyl is then removed leaving a beautiful piece created out of paint and wood. A soft wax coating is then applied which seals the sign and gives it a finished look.
