1993 5e année. Les premières leçons du travail.
Je n’aimais pas vraiment la construction, le dessin, mais le choix du tissu et la confection m’excitaient vraiment. Je me souviens que nous avions cousu un tablier, une jupe mi-soleil, une chemise de nuit.
L'été est arrivé. J'ai sorti un cahier pour le travail, trouvé la construction d'un short, réalisé un patron de short à ma taille. Coupez-le.
Mais! La machine à coudre n'était pas à la maison. Mais j'avais vraiment envie de sortir me promener avec un nouveau short blanc.
J'ai décidé que je n'attendrais rien ni personne et j'ai cousu le short à la main.
Quand je sortais dans la rue avec un nouveau short, il n'y avait aucune limite à mon bonheur et à ma fierté.
En général, la morale de cette fable est la suivante : quand on veut vraiment quelque chose, aucun obstacle ne s'y oppose. Et si quelque chose nous manque tout le temps : du temps, de l’inspiration, une nouvelle machine à coudre, alors nous n’en voulons pas tellement.
1993 5th grade. The first lessons of labor.
I didn’t really like construction, drawing, but the choice of fabric and tailoring really excited me. I remember we sewed an apron, a half-sun skirt, a nightgown.
The summer has come. I took out a notebook for work, found the construction of shorts, made a pattern of shorts for my size. Cut it.
But! The sewing machine was not at home. But I really wanted to go out for a walk in new white shorts.
I decided that I would not wait for anything and no one and sewed the shorts by hand.
When I went out into the street in new shorts, there was no limit to my happiness and pride in myself.
In general, the moral of this fable is this: when you really want something, then no obstacles stand in the way. And if we lack something all the time: time, inspiration, a new sewing machine, then we don’t want it so much.
