En febrero de 2022 estaba hablando con mi papá y le decía que quería iniciar algún tipo de negocio. Aunque nunca se me pasó por la cabeza que eso realmente sucedería. Desde que era más joven siempre quise hacer un inventario o poder empaquetar artículos para un negocio. Comencé a pensar en formas de configurar una cuenta en Esty para administrar una pequeña empresa que vendiera pulseras o algo por el estilo. Mi papá mencionó cómo había visto a personas iniciar su propio negocio de bordado. Entonces, cuando tenía 15 años y sabía coser, pensé en una pequeña máquina de bordar, hasta que hice más tareas. Ambos buscamos máquinas y elegimos una máquina Ricoma. Antes de darme cuenta, la máquina estaba aquí a principios de abril de 2022. Nos costó mucho trabajo bajar la máquina de 400 libras por las escaleras, pero a la larga pudimos bajarla. Luego vino aprender a operar la máquina. Con muchas pruebas y errores, descubrí cómo ejecutar la máquina con éxito. Ahora, a los 17 años, dirijo mi propio negocio oficial, EV Threadz.
In February of 2022 I was talking to my dad, saying that I wanted to start a business of some sort. It never crossed my mind that it would actually happen though. Ever since I was younger I always wanted to do inventory or be able to package items up for a business. I started thinking about ways to set up an Esty account to run a small little business selling bracelets or something along those lines. My dad brought up the suggestion about how he has seen people start their own embroidery business. So, 15 year old me knowing how to sew thought of a little small embroidery machine, until I did more of my homework. We both looked into machines and chose a Ricoma machine. Before I knew it the machine was here in the beginning of April 2022. It took a lot of hard work to get the 400 pound machine down the stairs, but in the long run we were able to get it down. Next, came learning how to run the machine. With a lot trial and error, I’ve figured out how to successfully run the machine. Now at 17, I am running my own official business, EV Threadz.
