Da piccola scarabocchiavo e disegnavo praticamente su qualsiasi cosa mi capitasse tra le mani. Venivo spesso rimproverata per aver "sprecato" il materiale scolastico. Non sono mai riuscita a concentrarmi sull'arte perché la vita mi trascinava in altre direzioni, ma non l'ho mai dimenticata. L'impulso creativo, la voglia di creare con colori, motivi e texture, ecc., è rimasto con me in ogni mia esperienza, fino a quando finalmente ho potuto dedicarmi alla pittura. Trovo ispirazione ovunque, ma soprattutto nella natura. Ho vissuto in posti davvero meravigliosi e amo trarre ispirazione da queste esperienze, portando gioia e colore nelle mie opere. When I was little I doodled and drew on just about anything I could get my hands on. I routinely got in trouble for 'wasting' my school supplies. I was never able to focus on my art because life was pulling me in other directions -- but I didn't forget it. The urge to create with colors, patterns, and textures, etc. This creative and artistic urge has remained with me through all sorts of endeavors until finally -- I can play with painting. I find inspiration all around me, but especially in nature. I have lived in some really beautiful places and I love to draw from those experiences by bringing joy and color into my work.
