How I Became a Pattern Author
Quando recebi meu Nook eReader, nenhuma das capas do mercado era divertida! Eu queria uma capa única que protegesse meu novo dispositivo. Depois de fazer alguns, todos os amaram, então abri uma loja da Etsy para começar a vender as capas. Enquanto alguns vendiam aqui e ali, eles não estavam voando da prateleira. Ao olhar para outras lojas etsy, descobri que as instruções do PDF Pattern pareciam estar indo bem, então decidi compartilhar meus métodos de construção com você, a comunidade criativa da Etsy. Os padrões começaram a vender bem, então eu projetei mais variações no padrão original. Uma vez que vendi o suficiente para comprar um iPad, eu fiz isso, e claro precisava de capas para o iPad. Atualmente vendo padrões no Etsy, Craftsy.com e vários outros sites. Tenho muito mais ideias padrão do que tempo, mas estou adicionando novos padrões regularmente. When I got my Nook eReader, none of the covers on the market were fun! I wanted a unique cover that would protect my new device. After making a few, everyone loved them so I opened an Etsy shop to start selling the covers. While a few sold here and there, they weren't flying off the shelf. In looking at other Etsy shops, I discovered that PDF Pattern instructions seemed to be doing well so I decided to share my construction methods with you, the Etsy creative community. The patterns began selling well, so I designed more variations on the original pattern. Once I sold enough to buy an iPad, I did so, and of course needed covers for the iPad. I currently sell patterns on Etsy, Craftsy.com and several other websites. I have far more pattern ideas than time, but am adding new patterns on a regular basis.
