Creating the Perfect Invitation for your Special Event
My love for design began at a young age where I became the queen "doodler" in class filling up pages and pages in my notebook. Later on in high school I decided to take an art class where my love for drawing and painting only grew from there. After college I made the decision to go to work for my family's printing business where I would find my true passion... in graphic design. My first project was to design a note card for a customer so I sketched a purse, scanned it in, and printed it onto the note and just like that I had my first sale! I then began to teach myself graphic design and started designing all types of invitations, stationery, programs, business cards and much more! After 14 years in the printing business my family and I decided to move from our home town. After much thought as to what I would do next....I discovered Etsy and soon after... ...Generations Ink was born! The "Generations" part came from my family's printing business' history and being established since 1875 with 4 generations of owners.
I would say my designs have a classic, traditional feel mixed with a modern touch, but more important than the look of the invitation is the customer service I strive to provide with every order. I LOVE getting to work with people all over the world and get a lot of satisfaction providing the absolute best customer service I can.
