NOVITÀ 22/06/2026: Per i dischi a 45 giri di valore più elevato potrebbe essere applicata la tariffa di spedizione per pacchi da 2 libbre (circa 1 kg). Questo per consentirmi di assicurare l'articolo e utilizzare un imballaggio più robusto. Generalmente, questa tariffa verrà applicata solo ai dischi a 45 giri di valore superiore a 20 dollari e ai dischi in vinile di valore superiore a 30 dollari.

NOVITÀ 03/12/2025: la spedizione gratuita scatta a partire da 35 $ di prodotto ordinato. Etsy fa un pessimo lavoro nello spiegare questo (al limite della superficialità), e non voglio che i miei clienti pensino che sia colpa mia. Ricevo questa domanda SEMPRE. Etsy deve fare di meglio!

NOVITÀ 17/03/2025 Una novità che sto per affrontare è il commento sul "undercurrent", ovvero il "suono" del vinile rappresentato da leggeri scoppiettii/scricchiolii. Un PO' è un'ottima cosa per molte persone che desiderano un suono autentico, soprattutto sui vecchi dischi. Questo sarà espresso su una scala di 5 punti, più alto è, meglio è!

NOVITÀ 13/03/2024: Se desideri qualcosa di separato da un lotto (LP o singoli), di solito posso soddisfare la richiesta, ma ti prego di contattarmi prima per dettagli e prezzi. È un processo piuttosto laborioso perché in genere comporta la necessità di rifotografare il materiale.

NOVITÀ 27/02/2024: Per tutti gli ordini superiori a $75 verrà applicata la tariffa USPS Ground Advantage, senza costi aggiuntivi! Questo ti garantisce un'assicurazione di $100 sul tuo ordine! Per tutti gli ordini inferiori a $75, contattami prima e potrò modificare le spese di spedizione. Di solito non costano molto di più.

NOVITÀ 01/04/2023: Non è uno scherzo del pesce d'aprile! Ho ufficialmente iniziato a pubblicare SINGOLI 45 GIRI 7" di alta qualità e/o molto richiesti! La moda dei jukebox è ufficialmente una "tendenza" nelle caverne maschili di tutto il mondo. Nota bene: non faccio distinzione tra "vinile" e "stirene" nelle descrizioni. Fatemi sapere se avete domande, richieste o avete bisogno di chiarimenti!

NOVITÀ 25/03/2023: Pulizia delle mani in microfibra: in realtà sto cercando di farlo con la maggior parte dei miei nuovi dischi. Richiede tempo, ma trovo che sia davvero il modo più efficace per pulire a fondo un disco. Non faccio pagare nulla in più per quelli che sono etichettati come tali. È solo un punto di forza e un modo per garantire che il disco suoni bene.

NOVITÀ 05/12/2022: Qualsiasi disco classificato come VG o inferiore verrà testato e valutato in base alle prestazioni in futuro. Non voglio che nessuno riceva un disco che salta a causa dell'usura generale.

Classificazione dei dischi (sia per gli LP che per i singoli):

Nuovo / Sigillato: Abbastanza autoesplicativo. Il disco non può essere rimosso dalla confezione originale perché è completamente o parzialmente sigillato. Se un disco dovesse presentare un difetto di fabbricazione (come una "bolla di bilancio"), non posso esserne ritenuto responsabile.

NM+: Si tratta di un disco mai riprodotto, in perfette condizioni. Potrebbe anche avere il perno intatto, che si romperà alla prima riproduzione.

NM: Disco visivamente intatto, senza difetti visibili.

NM-: Generalmente un disco intatto che potrebbe presentare un paio di impronte digitali o qualche difetto visivo del tutto irrilevante o correggibile.

EX+ / EX: un disco con difetti estetici estremamente lievi che non hanno alcun effetto sulla riproduzione e che potrebbero non essere nemmeno evidenti a meno che non si abbia un occhio esperto.

VG+: Registrazione con piccoli difetti visibili che potrebbero causare sibili o un leggero rumore di fondo. La registrazione non dovrebbe MAI saltare.

VG: Un disco con evidenti difetti visivi che suona senza salti, ma che probabilmente presenterà un po' di rumore. Non ne vendo molti, e se li vendo sono piuttosto economici. Se c'è un salto, sarà del tipo non ripetitivo, che non fa saltare la puntina in un'altra parte del disco.

VG-: In genere questo è il disco di qualità più bassa che cercherò di vendere, e solo se è estremamente difficile da trovare. Il disco dovrebbe essere riprodotto correttamente, ma potrebbe presentare dei salti e dei rumori indesiderati su alcuni giradischi.

G+: Potrei averne uno o due in vendita, ma in genere la vendita riguarda la copertina, non il disco in sé. Il disco potrebbe avere un significato storico.

NON vendo dischi rotti o gravemente graffiati. Li butto nella spazzatura (proprio accanto agli spaghetti).

A volte i 45 giri presentano delle ondulazioni... Ho un appiattitore molto sicuro che si è ripagato dieci volte tanto, ma a volte i 45 giri in stirene sono immuni. Nel 99% dei casi una leggera ondulazione NON influisce in alcun modo sulla riproduzione. È semplicemente il modo in cui vengono realizzati molti singoli da 7" (Mi riferisco a TE, MCA!).

Le "linee sottili" sono definite come graffi estetici estremamente leggeri che superano il "test dell'unghia". Se il dorso dell'unghia non riesce a rilevare il graffio, nemmeno l'ago dovrebbe farlo.

Le copertine sono valutate su una scala molto simile a quella dei dischi. Se avete bisogno di ulteriori foto della copertina di un disco, di solito posso fornirvele entro 24-48 ore. Vi indicherò se la copertina è stata riparata. Vi indicherò anche se qualche pomello della porta ha scritto il suo nome sulla copertina da qualche parte.

Buste interne: non valuto le buste interne! Quando metti qualcosa di affilato come una lametta dentro la carta, non aspettarti grandi risultati. Cercherò di segnalare se la busta interna è presente, ma se è davvero importante per te, scrivimi e sarò felice di aiutarti. Se una busta interna È in ottime condizioni, ti invierò il disco in una busta interna generica con l'originale inclusa. Molte delle buste interne che ricevo vengono riparate prima di riceverle.

Valutazione del suono: potresti notare che in alcuni elenchi ho delle valutazioni "visive" seguite da valutazioni "di riproduzione". Una cosa strana del vinile è che a volte un disco può essere visivamente molto brutto ma risultare perfettamente suonabile. A volte non ha alcun senso.

Spedizione: addebito la tariffa corrente per la spedizione di materiale multimediale, più il costo della busta di cartone per la spedizione dei dischi (che può variare leggermente). Le copertine apribili in genere superano la soglia di 1 libbra, quindi potrebbe essere leggermente più costose. Se desideri che qualcosa venga spedito con un metodo DIVERSO dalla spedizione di materiale multimediale (ad esempio, se desideri un'assicurazione prioritaria o qualcosa del genere), contattami prima! Sono molto flessibile!

Pulizia a ultrasuoni: non la uso con tutti i miei dischi perché la maggior parte non ne ha bisogno. Se è qualcosa che desideri VERAMENTE, contattami e possiamo trovare una soluzione a un costo simbolico o come parte di un accordo più ampio. A volte la soluzione detergente non si risciacqua bene come spero... questo può causare un rumore uniforme durante la riproduzione. È facilmente correggibile utilizzando un panno in microfibra per rimuovere i residui.

Categorie, ricerche e tag che utilizzo:

**Classificazione da collezionista** è un'etichetta che uso per distinguere i dischi di qualità veramente elevata da quelli standard. Un disco ottiene questa etichetta quando la valutazione "media" tra copertina e disco è "EX+" o superiore, con il disco che ha almeno una valutazione "EX". Se avete bisogno di chiarimenti su cosa significhi, contattatemi! :)

Ho ordinato tutti i miei dischi per genere. Quindi, quando entri nel mio negozio, puoi guardare sul lato sinistro e filtrare per genere se vuoi esplorare un particolare stile musicale. Ad esempio, usa il tag "da collezione" se vuoi filtrare i miei prodotti di fascia alta. Usa "sigillato" nei criteri di ricerca se vuoi trovare merce NUOVA. Usa "singolo" per i singoli da 12" e 7".

Artigiani: ho centinaia e centinaia di copertine vuote di tutti i generi per progetti di artigianato. Nota: sto cercando attivamente qualcuno con cui collaborare che possa realizzare borse a mano con le copertine dei dischi! PER FAVORE, contattatemi! A quanto pare non è così difficile e le vecchie copertine diventano delle fantastiche borse!

Dischi di scarto: ho un SACCO di dischi di scarto (per lo più singoli da 7") se sei un appassionato di crafting! Se sei interessato, scrivimi!

Resi/Cambi: garantisco che tutti i miei documenti non salteranno nulla! Fatemi sapere se avete problemi entro due settimane dalla consegna.

Consegne internazionali: Sì! Posso spedire a livello internazionale, ma prima devi inviarmi un messaggio con l'elenco esatto dei dischi che desideri! A quel punto potrò modificare le opzioni di spedizione per quegli annunci e renderli disponibili per te. Si basa sul peso, quindi ti prego di informarti prima che io perda un sacco di tempo a modificare le opzioni di spedizione.

NEW 6/22/2026: Higher value 45's might be charged the 2lb rate for shipping. It's so I can get insurance on the item and use heavier packaging. This will generally only be on 45's over $20 and LP's over $30.

NEW 12/3/2025: Free shipping kicks in at $35 in product ordered. Etsy does a horrible job explaining this (bordering on being sketchy), and I don't want my customers thinking it's me. I get this question ALL the time. Etsy needs to do better!

NEW 3/17/2025 A new thing I'm doing is commenting on "undercurrent", which is the vinyl "sound" represented by light pops / crackles. A LITTLE bit is a very good thing to a lot of people who want an authentic sound, especially on the old stuff. This will be on a 5 point scale, the higher the better!

NEW 3/13/2024: If you want something separated from a lot (LP's or singles), I can usually honor the request, but please message me first for details and pricing. It's somewhat labor intensive because it generally involves re-photographing stuff.

NEW 2/27/2024: Any order over $75 will be upgraded to USPS Ground Advantage, no extra charge! This gives you $100 insurance on your order! For any orders under $75 message me first and I can adjust the shipping cost. Usually it's not that much more.

NEW 4/1/2023: Not an April Fools joke! I'm officially starting to list high grade and/or high demand 7" 45RPM SINGLES! The Jukebox trend is officially a 'thing' in man-caves everywhere. Please note: I do not differentiate between "vinyl" and "styrene" in the descriptions. Let me know if you have any questions, requests, or need any clarification!

NEW 3/25/2023: Microfiber Hand Cleaning: I'm actually trying to do this with most of my new listings. It's time consuming, but I find that it's really the most effective way to deep clean a record. I don't charge anything extra for the ones that are tagged as such. It's just a selling point and a way to ensure that you get a nice sounding disc.

NEW 12/5/2022: Anything graded VG or lower will be play-tested / play-graded going forward. I don't want anyone to get a record that skips because of general wear and tear.

Record grading (for both LP's and singles):

New / Sealed: Pretty self explanatory. Record cannot be removed from it's original packaging because it's fully or partially sealed. If a record comes out with a manufacturer defect (like a "budget bubble"), I can't be held responsible for that.

NM+ : This is an un-played flawless record. It may even have intact spindle flashing which will break off the first time it's played.

NM : Visually pristine record, with no visible flaws.

NM- : Generally a pristine record that might have a couple finger prints or some visual defect that's completely inconsequential or correctable.

EX+ / EX : A record with extremely minor cosmetic defects that will have zero effect on playback that might not even be apparent unless you have a trained eye.

VG+ : Record with minor visible flaws that may cause hissing or slight background noise. Record should NEVER skip.

VG : A record with noticeable visual defects that plays without skipping, but will likely have some noise. I don't sell very many of these, and if I do they are pretty inexpensive. If there IS a skip, it will be of the non-repeating variety that doesn't launch the needle to another part of the record.

VG- : Generally this is the lowest grade record I will attempt to sell, and only if it's extremely hard to find. Record should play through ok, but may have pops and possibly skips on certain record players.

G+ : I might have one or two listed, but the sale typically would be for the cover, not the record itself. The record may have historical significance.

I do NOT sell broken or severely scratched records. I throw them in the garbage (right next to the spaghetti).

45's sometimes have some waviness... I have a very safe flattener that's paid for itself tenfold, but sometimes the styrene 45's are immune. 99% of the time a slight wave will NOT affect play-back in any way. It's just how a lot of the 7" singles are made (Looking at YOU, MCA!).

"Hairlines" are defined as extremely light cosmetic scratches that pass the "fingernail test". If the back of a fingernail can't detect the scratch, the needle shouldn't either.

Covers are graded on a very similar scale to discs. If you need additional pictures of a record cover, I can generally produce them within 24-48 hours. I will mention if a cover is repaired. I will also mention if some doorknob wrote their name on the cover somewhere.

Inners: I don't grade inner sleeves! When you put something that's as sharp as a razor blade inside paper, don't expect great results. I will try to mention if the inner is present, but if it's really important to you please message me and I'll be happy to help out. If an inner IS in really good shape, I will send the record in a generic inner sleeve with the original included alongside. A lot of the inners I receive are repaired before I get them.

Play-grading: You might notice that I will have "visual" grades followed by "play" grades on certain listings. A peculiar thing about vinyl is that sometimes a record can be visually very ugly but turn out to play perfectly. It makes zero sense sometimes.

Shipping: I charge the current media mail rate, plus the cost of the cardboard record mailer (which can fluctuate a bit). Gatefold covers generally cross over the 1lb mark, so that's why I might charge a little more for those. If you want something shipped by a method OTHER than media mail (IE; if you want Priority insurance or something like that), message me first! I'm very flexible!

Ultrasonic Cleaning: I don't do this with all of my records because most of them don't need it. If this is something you REALLY want done, message me and we can work something out for a nominal fee or as part of a larger deal. Sometimes the cleaning solution doesn't rinse off as well as I hope... this can result in some uniform noise during playback. It's easily correctible by using a microfiber cloth to wipe off the residue.

Categories, searching, and tags that I use:

**Collector Grade** is a tag I use to separate the truly high-grade records from standard fare. A record gets that tag when the "average" grade between cover and disc is "EX+" or better, with the disc being a minimum of "EX". If you need clarification on what all of that means please message me! :)

I have all of my records sorted by genre. So when you enter my shop, you can look over on the left hand side and filter by genre if you want to browse a particular style of music. For example, use the "collector grade" tag if you want to filter my really high end stuff. Use "sealed" in your search criteria if you want to find NEW merch. Use "single" for 12" and 7" singles.

Crafting people: I have hundreds and hundreds of empty covers from all genres for crafting projects. Note: I'm actively looking for someone to partner up with that can craft record cover hand-bags! PLEASE message me about this! It's apparently not that hard and the old covers make great handbags!

Scrap Records: I have a BUNCH of scrap records (mostly 7" singles) if you are a crafter! Please message me if interested!

Returns / Exchanges: I stand behind all of my records not skipping! Please let me know if you have any problems within two weeks of delivery.

International Deliveries: Yes! I can ship internationally, but you have to message me with an exact list of the records you want first! At that point I can adjust the shipping options for those listings to open it up for you. It's based on weight, so please do your homework before I spend a bunch of time adjusting shipping options.
