In my GoForFelt Handmade Slippers, Hat and Scarfs Studio you will find products from the best quality wool made by one from the oldiest textile technique-wet felting.

I love to work with wool. I use especially nuno felting technique which combines wool with silk. The main feature of wool felt is that it allows me the freedom of contours and irregular shapes that are not possible with other materials.

Return of Wool

I opened the Wool Gallery in the South Iceland, in a vilage called Vík í Mýrdal / in summer 2015 and 2016 , 2017, 2018, 2019 /. The gallery is open for the Summer season and it is situated in a converted army container. The history of the container is very interesting. It originally belonged to the Warsaw Pact troops and was bought by Icelanders in 1990 from a seller in East Germany. The container was used for sterilization of surgical instruments. Now the army container has been revitalized and serves different purpose.
The gallery is currently closed for the Covid 19 reason. You can find TheWool Gallery Vík í Mýrdal on Víkurbraut 21, 870 Vík í Mýrdal. GPS
