Why I Chose My Name
Al centro di Haynes Custom Cups & More c'è una storia cucita insieme con amore, creatività e tradizione familiare. Mia madre aveva un dono per il lavoro manuale. Dopo lunghe giornate passate dietro la macchina da cucire, tornava a casa ogni giovedì sera, si sedeva alla sua e creava con amore tre vestiti, uno per ciascuna delle sue bambine. Entro il sabato, avevamo abiti nuovi di zecca per le nostre gite del fine settimana.
Ma non si fermò lì. Essendo gemella identica, spesso realizzava abiti coordinati anche per lei e sua sorella. Agli altri bambini, sembravamo ricchi, sempre pronti a presentarci con qualcosa di nuovo. In realtà, non erano i soldi a renderlo possibile. Era la pazienza di mia madre nel passare ore a cercare il tessuto e i modelli perfetti, e la sua dedizione nel dedicare tempo e amore a ogni punto.
Quello spirito di creatività e cura è il fondamento della mia attività oggi. Proprio come mia madre cuciva la bellezza in ogni abito, creo tazze personalizzate e altro ancora che portano lo stesso tocco personale, pensate per portare gioia, stile e un senso di "qualcosa di speciale" nella vita di tutti i giorni.
Ecco perché ho scelto il nome Haynes Custom Cups & More: per rendere omaggio a dove tutto ha avuto inizio, con l'amore di una madre e un tocco artigianale.
At the heart of Haynes Custom Cups & More is a story stitched together with love, creativity, and family tradition. My mother had a gift for working with her hands. After long days behind a sewing machine at work, she would come home every Thursday evening, sit at her own machine, and lovingly create three dresses—one for each of her little girls. By Saturday, we had brand-new outfits for our weekend outings.
She didn’t stop there. As an identical twin, she often made matching outfits for her and her sister as well. To the other kids, it looked like we were rich—always showing up in something new. In reality, it wasn’t money that made it possible. It was my mother’s patience to spend hours searching for the perfect fabric and patterns, and her devotion to pouring her time and love into every stitch.
That spirit of creativity and care is the foundation of my business today. Just like my mother sewed beauty into every outfit, I create custom cups and more that carry that same personal touch—designed to bring joy, style, and a sense of “something special” into everyday life.
This is why I chose the name Haynes Custom Cups & More—to honor where it all began, with a mother’s love and a handmade touch.
