Welcome, and thank you for visiting my shop. All of my handmade necklaces and bracelets are unique and one of a kind. I work with natural, organic materials such as gemstones, bone, glass, wood and sterling silver - never plastic. Most of my handmade jewelry incorporates repurposed and vintage parts along with new materials. Working with you to create an item designed specifically to your wants/needs is my most welcome challenge.

I have several sections in my shop - Native American Indian and General designs by me (Hidden Bear), Vintage with jewelry and other well-loved, preowned items, another one for jewelry supplies and one for rocks, minerals and crystals.

I have always loved to do beadwork and sat many hours at my Grandmother's knee as she worked on her different projects. As life progressed and I grew further from my roots, I also grew further from my first love - creating beautiful things from natural materials.

As I reconnected with my Native heritage, I began my search for a symbolic necklace to wear which would reflect my heritage. When my search proved unsuccessful, I realized that I needed to go back to my beginnings. I was the one who needed to create exactly that necklace.

Once I began wearing my creation to work, people around me asked where I had found my necklace - then whether I could make something special for them also. I also began to wonder - how many others are there who have searched for that one special, symbolic piece to wear? And so I began my journey of custom making jewelry for others.

My most rewarding moments are working with customers to design an item that they have an active part in creating. They know what they want and I am able to bring it to life. Who could ask for more?

I am a member of the Nulhegan Band of the Coosuk Abenaki Nation in Vermont. Band ID #0640
