How it all started
Empecé a coleccionar contras hace tres o cuatro años como hobby. Actualmente he coleccionado alrededor de 1400 monedas únicas de todo el mundo. Me encanta ver diferentes imágenes y escritos en las monedas, ya que cuentan una pequeña historia del país desde donde se encuentran. También gracias a la recolección de monedas he aprendido sobre varios países que no sabía que existían.
De todos modos, cuando quise mostrar algunas de mis monedas favoritas no pude encontrar ninguna pantalla que me gustara. Encontrado, por supuesto, mil álbumes de monedas en China, baratos y prácticos, pero no puede mostrarlos con la delicadeza que merecen las mil monedas. ¡Así que decidí crear mis propios portapergráficas! Pasé unos meses haciendo diseño, seleccionando materiales y accesorios. Muchas pruebas, tanto buenas como malas. Y al final encontró la mejor combinación de materiales y diseño único. La famosa madera contrachapada de abedul báltico se procesa con aceite mineral transparente para aumentar la resistencia contra la suciedad, el plexiglás transparente permite ver tanto la parte delantera como la parte posterior de las monedas, los remaches aseguran un sello hermético en el soporte y la posibilidad de agregar o cambiar monedas a medida que pasa el tiempo, las patas de latón brindan un equilibrio adicional para el soporte de monedas. Realmente me gusta cómo los soportes de monedas se ven interesantes desde cualquier ángulo en que se vean, pero mi favorito es la vista lateral: tres capas de plexiglás-madera contrachapada-plexiglás se ve simplemente increíble.
Al principio solo los hice para que mis monedas las exhibieran. Eventualmente algunos amigos los salvan, les dijeron que se ven tan bien y tengo que ponerlos en línea para venderlos. Y aquí estoy, vendiendo mis portadores de monedas :D

I started collecting cons three or four years ago as a hobby. Currently I have collected around 1400 unique coins from all over the world. I love seeing different images and writings on the coins as they tell a little story of the country from where they are. Also thanks to coin collecting I have learned about several countries that I didn't know existed.
Anyway, when I wanted to show of some of my favorite coins I couldn't find any display that I liked. Found of course thous coin albums in China, cheap and handy, but can't display them with the finesse that thous coins deserve. So I decided on creating my own coin holders! Spent few months on making design, selecting materials and fixtures. A lot of tests, both good and bad. And in the end found the best combination of materials and unique design. Famous Baltic birch plywood is processed with transparent mineral oil to increase resistance against dirt, transparent plexiglass allows to see both front and back of coins, rivets ensure tight seal on the holder and possibility to add or change coins as time goes on, brass legs gives extra balance for coin holder. I really like how the coin holders look interesting from any angle they are viewed, but my favorite is the side view - three layers plexiglass-plywood-plexiglass looks just amazing.
At first I just made them for my coins to display them in. Eventually some friends save them they told that they look so good and I have to put them online to sell them! And so here I am, selling my coin holders :D
