Since my early years as a child I remember my great grandmother and grandmother working together making a crochet bedspread out of white cotton thread. I still remember the texture of the flowers and the enormity of the project. I love the textures and natural colors of all the different types of fibers like angora, wool, alpaca, mohair, bamboo, silk. Angora is my favorite fiber for its softness and how I feel about my bunnies. The bunnies have been a great part of my life since my children use to show them at the 4-H shows as kids.
Creating yarns is a way for me to express a side of me that only shows when I spin my hand dyed wool and fibers into yarns, like Art yarns. This is a way for me to create a bridge between me and my customer, as they use my yarns to make a unique item for their family and friends.
