Somos una pequeña empresa nueva propiedad de veteranos discapacitados minoritarios que se centra en golosinas nutritivas para perros con ingredientes limitados.

Todo comenzó después de rescatar a un labrador negro de seis meses de edad que tenía un estómago muy sensible y le faltaba energía a medida que crecía. Después de agregar a nuestro segundo rescate, que tenía mucha energía pero también era tímido y ansioso, decidimos no solo trabajar en su entrenamiento conductual sino también observar más de cerca su dieta, especialmente el tipo de golosinas que estábamos usando.

Después de aprender lo que realmente significa una dieta equilibrada y lo beneficiosa que puede ser para la salud y la esperanza de vida de su perro, cambiamos por completo la forma en que los alimentamos y comenzamos a hacer nuestras propias golosinas. Además de deshidratar verduras, patas de pollo, hígado y otros refrigerios súper nutritivos, queríamos crear productos horneados con ingredientes limitados para que, si invitamos a nuestros cachorros a refrigerios horneados, supiéramos que estaban comiendo algo limpio, saludable y delicioso que no contiene sabores ni aditivos artificiales. Después de ver un cambio drástico en los niveles de energía y la salud y felicidad general de nuestros cachorros, sabíamos que teníamos que compartir esto con otros dueños de perros que quisieran hacer cambios similares en la dieta de sus perros y nació Howlin' Howie's.

We are a minority disabled veteran-owned small business start-up that focuses on limited ingredients nutritious dogs treats.

It all started after rescuing a six-month-old black lab pit mix who had a very sensitive stomach and lacked energy as he was growing. After adding our second rescue who was very high energy but also shy and anxious, we decided to not only work on their behavioral training but also take a closer look at their diet, especially the kind of treats we were using.

After learning about what a balanced diet truly means and how beneficial it can be for your dog’s health and overall life span, we completely changed the way we fed them and started making our own treats. Next to dehydrating veggies, chicken feet, liver, and other super nutritious snacks, we wanted to create baked items using limited ingredients so that if we do treat our pups to baked snacks, we knew they were eating something clean, healthy, and delicious that contains no artificial flavors or additives. After seeing a drastic change in our pups' energy levels and overall health and happiness, we knew we had to share this with other dog owners who may want to make similar changes to their dog’s diet and Howlin’ Howie’s was born.
