Handmade Leather Accessories — Turning Leather Into Art
ISHAOR is a family-owned boutique workshop dedicated to creating handcrafted leather pieces that are truly one of a kind.
Each item we make is defined by its rich colors, unique textures, and bold, artistic design.
In a world driven by machines, we remain loyal to traditional craftsmanship. We are among the few workshops that still process leather hides entirely by hand. Using natural leathers and techniques refined over many years, we create pieces that carry both character and soul.
All of our colors are carefully mixed in-house using natural pigments, allowing us to achieve distinctive shades that cannot be replicated.
Our Story:
ISHAOR began in 2003 in Amsterdam, when founder Ishai Dauker was recovering from a virus that temporarily left him paralyzed. During that time, he made a life-changing decision—to leave his path behind and pursue his true passion: mastering the art of leather.
He later moved to Israel, where he developed the unique techniques that define our work today—through years of experimentation, persistence, and craftsmanship.
The name ISHAOR reflects the spirit of the brand:
ISH (man), ISHA (woman), OR (leather).
In 2015, Maya joined the journey. What began as a creative partnership soon became a life partnership, turning ISHAOR into a true family business.
What Makes Our Work Different:
Our designs are bold, evolving, and unmistakably unique.
We combine imprints, cuts, textures, and layers to create pieces that stand out—each with its own identity.
No two items are ever the same.
Every product is a “One Piece”—a result of our hands-on process and artistic approach.
Today, we focus on belts, bracelets, and handbags, but our technique allows us to expand into many other forms, from wallets to garments and beyond.
Recognition:
Our work has been worn and appreciated by artists and public figures including Ziggy Marley, Reo, Adrian Grenier, and members of The Script, as well as featured in the Daniell Siboni Gallery.
Our Philosophy:
We don’t just make accessories.
We create wearable art—crafted by hand, shaped by tradition, and designed to stand out.
