This vest fit like a glove. The leather is great quality, but if you are considering wearing it during the summer, I'd advise it. It will be too hot. It is like biker leather. I highly recommend this vest and this shop. I purchased a difference vest in brown a month before ordering this one. That same thickness and quality.

My husband is over the moon to use this as part of his Athos Musketeer costume in his upcoming play. This doublet (vest) is absolutely fantastic! It is described as leather and looks, feels, and smells like it. The construction is well done, and I am a very picky seamstress who often costumes period plays. The price was excellent. Coming from overseas, the shipping took longer than the original estimate. When I contacted the store owner with my concern, the responses were lightning fast, addressed my concern, and were supportive. All in all, if you have the time to allow for shipping (possibly 3 weeks or so), BUY it! You will not be disappointed.
