I sprayed it with clear Rustoleum as recommended in the description because it got fingerprint marks very easily, and I plan to put it near the ground where my kids will certainly touch it. The back is not finished as smooth as the front, so you couldn't flip it, but this particular bunny is symmetrical, so that's a moot point.
