🌺 LANI’S General Store Now Open at Sheraton Waikiki 🌺

We’re excited to announce that LANI’S General Store has opened a pop-up shop inside the Sheraton Waikiki Resort.
It’s truly an honor and a joy to have the opportunity to set up our store here in Waikiki, the very heart of O‘ahu.
At our Sheraton Waikiki location, you’ll find a collection of Made in Hawai‘i originals, including our signature Palaka items and other original pieces handmade right here in Hawai‘i.
Each piece reflects our love for local craftsmanship and the island lifestyle we cherish.

Please stop by LANI’S General Store – Sheraton Waikiki the next time you’re in Waikiki.
We look forward to welcoming you with aloha — this is just the beginning of a new chapter for us. 🌴

"LANI" in the Hawaiian language means "Heaven".

Born in Los Angeles and raised in Tokyo, I worked for a local apparel brand in Hawaii in my 20s. After that, I returned to Tokyo and my passion for making clothes and love for Hawaii fostered my dream of establishing an original brand.

In 2017, I was approached by the owner of a sewing factory in Honolulu that was going out of business, and I purchased all the sewing machines and machinery from her and took over the sewing business.

"LANI" in the Hawaiian language means "Heaven". In the spring of 2018, we started LANI'S General Store (Heaven's General Store), a shop attached to our sewing factory, with the mission of revitalizing Hawaii's sewing industry, which is in decline, and developing original clothing made in Hawaii. This concept is the origin of the brand "LANI'S General Store".

Aloha,
Dennis Kaneko
