1. For data protection purposes, I am the data controller for the personal information that I receive and use in connection with purchases made from my Etsy shop.

2. Personal information I receive

I only receive personal information that is provided through Etsy. Depending on your order, this may include:

• Your name and Etsy username
• Your email address
• Your order and transaction details
• Messages or enquiries sent through Etsy
• Personalisation instructions provided with your order
• Names, dates, wording, images, photographs, logos or other content that you voluntarily provide for a customised digital design

I do not receive or store your full payment card or bank details. Payments are processed by Etsy using Etsy Payments.

I do not collect customer information through a separate website, mailing list, database or external order form.

3. Why I use your information

I use personal information only when necessary to:

Your information is shared with Etsy because Etsy provides the marketplace, payment processing, messaging and digital delivery services used for your purchase. Etsy processes information according to its own Privacy Policy.

• To prevent fraud or protect the rights and safety of my shop or another person
• To establish, exercise or defend a legal claim
• Where you have specifically asked or authorised me to do so

Some digital products may contain links to third-party websites, software or design platforms. Information that you provide directly to those third parties is processed under their own privacy policies. I do not receive that information unless you separately send it to me through Etsy.

5. How long I keep information

I do not create a separate customer database or mailing list.

Order information, messages and personalisation details may remain available within my Etsy seller account. I retain and use this information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• Complete your order
• Provide customer support
• Resolve a complaint or dispute
• Meet tax, accounting or legal requirements
• Establish or defend a legal claim

Customisation files or personal information under my direct control will be deleted when they are no longer reasonably needed for these purposes, unless I am legally required to retain them.

Information controlled directly by Etsy may be retained by Etsy according to Etsy’s own policies and legal obligations.

6. International customers and data transfers

LadyJayDesigns accepts orders from customers worldwide.

I do not independently transfer or store customer information in another country. However, Etsy operates internationally and may process or store information outside your country. Information about Etsy’s international data processing arrangements can be found in Etsy’s Privacy Policy.

Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have the right to:
