I walked through the Wyche road towards the Malvern Hills three times in one week. The first time I was on my own in a cloudy day, the second time I went with my son on a sunny day and the third time I was again alone in a rainy day. I then drew all that I saw and experienced in one frame. Drawing, though a powerful medium, did not satisfy my desire for creating something through a more permanent process. A procedure closer to what our ancestors did in order to immortalize their expressions. Until I discovered printmaking and found it as the perfect fit for my creativity. The idea of carving my images on linoleum blocks and then applying multiple layers of ink and pressing them on top of each other seemed like a joyous labour of love to me.

Hello everyone, here is a little introduction to me and my artistic endeavours. I really hope when you look at my work my passion for fine arts especially for printmaking transcends the geographical distance and we could connect through the noble medium of art. My aspirations come from the world around me. The Malvern Hills and its beautiful landscape, my little son and my feelings towards the events in both my life and our world. Growing up in an artistic family of musicians and artists I developed an early interest in music and painting. Most of my times in my adolescent years were spent on learning the piano and perfecting my drawing skills.
I graduated from the University of Worcester with BA in Art and Design and later on I got my MA from the Birmingham City University (BIAD) in Visual Communications.
Throughout my years at university I developed a keen interest in printmaking and in the past few years, it has become the main outlet for my creativity.
My works usually tell a multi-layered story in one frame. They are the honest reflection of my feelings within a certain period of time and they are strongly rooted in my experience as a mother.
In the past few years, my works have been exhibited in many galleries in UK. Amongst all of these my greatest experience has been connecting with a wonderful community of fans and fellow artists from all over the world, and the opportunity to share my work with you through this store. So far I have been getting a lot of heart-warming love and support from you great people that only motivates me to create and share more.
