About Lemon Ephemera
Lemon Ephemera è un insieme di idee e progetti realizzati a mano da Micayla B. Da bambina, Micayla creava vestiti e case per le sue barbie che portavano a un bivio da adolescente: moda o architettura? Con una grande passione per il design si iscrive al college per fashion design. Bruciata dopo il suo primo anno e rendendosi conto che non era stata costruita per l'industria, Micayla ha cambiato rotta e ha conseguito un diploma in studi commerciali. Ora, con la combinazione di moda e formazione aziendale, è stata in grado di avviare questo piccolo negozio.
Micayla è l'epitome di "Jack of all trades, master of none", ma ciò non la dissuade dal cercare sempre di espandere i suoi orizzonti. Può essere coinvolta in nuovi mezzi di tanto in tanto (chiedile come ha trascorso un inverno a fare braccialetti di charme) ma a volte quei progetti tornano in giro e hanno un modo per aiutarti lungo la linea.
Spera di iniziare presto a insegnare workshop e lezioni all'uncinetto e continuare ad espandere la sua conoscenza di ogni mezzo che pratica. Forse un giorno Micayla sarà in grado di dire di essere una Maestra di qualcosa.
Lemon Ephemera is a gathering of ideas and projects handmade by Micayla B. As a child, Micayla would create clothes and homes for her barbies which led to a cross roads as a teen: Fashion or Architecture? With a great passion for design she enrolled in college for fashion design. Burnt out after her first year and realizing that she wasn't built for the industry, Micayla changed her route and pursued a diploma in business studies. Now with the combination of fashion and business education, she was able to start this little shop.
Micayla is the epitome of "Jack of all trades, master of none," but that doesn't deter her from always trying to expand her horizons. She may get caught up in new mediums now and again (ask her about how she spent one winter making charm bracelets) but sometimes those projects come back around and have a way of helping you out down the line.
She hopes to soon begin teaching crochet workshops and classes, and continue expanding her knowledge of each medium she practices. Maybe one day Micayla will be able to say she's a Master of something.
