To Tree, or not to Tree....

Hej och tack för att du tittade in! Du kanske har kommit hit för att ha letat efter originalkonstverk, kanske är en trädbeundrare som jag, eller behöver en speciell och unik present. I så fall hoppas jag att mitt arbete passar din uppdrag.
Träd fascinerar oss. Naturligt vackra, de växer inte för vår estetiska smak, utan för sina egna behov. De flesta människor har ett träd som sticker ut för dem. En påminnelse om en viktig dag, ett barndomshem, eller bara ett man litar på för att förbli fast rotat medan livet rusar förbi.
Jag ritar träd från verkliga livet, eller skapar nya former, baserat på sådana jag minns som inspirerar mig. Jag använder svart arkivbläck på varm- eller kallpressat 300 gsm akvarellpapper eller monteringskartong, och avslutar med lite vattentvätt eller akvarellfärg. Varje träd är helt unikt.
Jag tar gärna emot uppdrag. Om du har ett specifikt träd eller en typ/art i åtanke kan jag arbeta utifrån foton som du skickar, eller skapa ditt träd baserat på min artforskning.
Mina uppdrag har spridits via mun till mun innan jag kom på Etsy, jag ser fram emot att bli en del av Etsys konstgemenskap.

Hello, and thank you for stopping by! You may have arrived here, looking for original artwork, perhaps a tree admirer like myself, or in need of a special and unique gift. In which case, I hope my work fits your brief.
Trees fascinate us. Naturally beautiful, growing not for our aesthetic tastes, but for their own needs. Most people have a tree that stands out to them. A reminder of an important day, a childhood home, or just one you rely on to remain firmly rooted while life rushes past.
I draw trees from real life, or create new shapes, based on ones I remember that inspire me. I use black archival ink, on hot or cold press 300gsm watercolour paper or mount board, and finish with a little water wash or watercolour paint. Each tree is entirely unique.
I welcome commissions. If you have a particular tree or type/species in mind, I can work off photos sent over by you, or create your tree based off my species research.
My commissions have been through word of mouth prior to Etsy, I am looking forward to joining the Etsy arts community.
