Después de viajar por el mundo como guía turístico de aventura, y sin un hueso creativo en mi cuerpo, me mudé al Karoo y tuve una niña encantadora. Me dieron una bolsa para dormir por Navidad y me encariñé tanto con ella que aprendí a coser e hice algunas bolsas de colores y encantadoras por mi cuenta. . . Una cosa lleva a la otra y 3 años después, ahora proporciono trabajo a tiempo parcial para 4 mujeres en una pequeña comunidad donde la recolección de frutas y la limpieza de la casa son las principales opciones.
Juntos hacemos juguetes coloridos, hermosos vestidos y mucho más, en telas shweshwe brillantes, orgullosamente sudafricanas, al igual que nosotros.
Trabajamos, nos reímos, charlamos con nuestros hijos corriendo y producimos artículos de algodón de alta calidad, ¡exportando a todo el mundo!

After travelling the world as an adventure tour guide, and with not a creative bone in my body, I moved to the Karoo and had a lovely baby girl. I was given a bag sleeping for Christmas and became so fond of it that I taught myself to sew and made some lovely colourful bags of my own… One thing lead to another and 3 years later, I now provide part time work for 4 ladies in a small community where fruit picking and house cleaning are the main options.
Together we make colourful toys, beautiful dresses and much more, in bright shweshwe fabrics , proudly south African - just like us.
We work, laugh, chat with our children running around – and produce high quality cotton items, exporting all over the world already!
