Che cosa significa, chiedi? Bene, dall'inizio della nostra attività nel 2017, cinque concetti fondamentali si sono distinti come impegni solidi fin dal primo giorno.

🌎 Pratiche sostenibili ed etiche.
Tutti i nostri prodotti sono progettati dall'umile proprietario di MerchOwl appena fuori Austin, in Texas. I nostri prodotti sono tutti prodotti "print-on-demand", il che significa che il processo di produzione inizia nel momento in cui effettui l'ordine. Abbiamo preso la decisione fin dall'inizio di non contribuire mai all'industria del "fast fashion" distruttiva per l'ambiente e di non riempire mai i magazzini con prodotti che potremmo non vendere, dovendo solo distruggerli e accumularli nelle discariche. Questo modello di business è molto più rispettoso della Terra, anche quando a volte il materiale su cui dobbiamo stampare è su un poliestere o una poli-miscela.
Tutto in MerchOwl è prodotto in un ambiente 100% privo di sfruttamento - collaboriamo solo con produttori che mantengono una stretta aderenza alle pratiche etiche. Inoltre, i nostri prodotti sono tutti stampati digitalmente con inchiostri e coloranti di alta qualità ed ecologici.
A causa del nostro impegno per pratiche rispettose della Terra e delle persone, non saremo in grado di spedire abbastanza velocemente come le Amazzoni del mondo, ma aiuterai l'ambiente acquistando da noi - questa è la linea di fondo.

Lavoriamo solo con stampanti note per la loro qualità superiore e la soddisfazione dell'acquirente. Detto questo, piccoli difetti possono verificarsi in occasioni molto rare - se dovessi mai incorrere in problemi di qualità, faccelo sapere e lo faremo assolutamente bene.

What does that mean, you ask? Well, since the start of our business in 2017, five core concepts have stood out as solid commitments from day one.
Let us elaborate..
🌎 Sustainable, ethical practices.
All of our products are designed by MerchOwl's humble owner just outside of Austin, Texas. Our products are all produced "print-on-demand", meaning that the manufacturing process begins the moment you place your order. We made the decision right from the start to never contribute to the environmentally destructive "fast fashion" industry, and to never fill warehouses with products that we may not sell, only having to destroy it and pile up in landfills. This business model is far more Earth-friendly, even when sometimes the material we need to print on is on a polyester or poly-blend.
Everything at MerchOwl is manufactured in a 100% sweatshop-free environment - we only partner with manufacturers who maintain a strict adherence to ethical practices. Furthermore, our products are all digitally printed with high-quality and eco-friendly inks and dyes.
Because of our commitment to Earth-friendly and people-friendly practices, we won't be able to ship quite as fast as the Amazons of the world, but you will be helping the environment by purchasing from us - that is the bottom line.

We have fun here. You'll see many quirky, geeky, creative and downright weird designs. We tend toward the lighter side of life. But it's not ALL goofiness. Our latest collection, "STAR STUFF", contains a variety of gift items and unique apparel featuring astronomy, space, and celestial phenomenon, dedicated to the inspirational astrophysicist and educator Carl Sagan.
🌟 Uncompromising quality.
We work with only printers known for their superior quality and buyer satisfaction. That said, minor defects can occur on very rare occasion - should you ever run into any quality issues, let us know and we will absolutely make it right.
